In
many cases the NHS takes six months or more to supply standard model
wheelchairs to patients who desperately need them. These people often feel
like prisoners in their own homes and such delays can sometimes impede the
healing process.

This
is where DTFS can help. We provide patients with a wheelchair until they
receive their own from the NHS. This allows them to get out and do the
things that most of us take for granted - like going to the shops or
visiting friends and family. We have also helped terminally ill patients
with much needed equipment. |
